The Italian fair for intelligent, digital and sustainable industry is the ideal opportunity to learn about the latest trends and new technological solutions for industrial automation. Founded in 2011, today it\u2019s a point of reference for the Italian manufacturing sector.<\/p>\n

This year, the fair will host the main suppliers of industrial components and systems, including ESA<\/strong>. A must-attend appointment to talk about the most relevant topics and challenges in the field of Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing.<\/p>\n

Preview of SPS Italia: themes and paths for 2023<\/h2>\n

The 2023 edition of SPS Italia offers an exhibition itinerary divided into six pavilions. Halls 3, 5 and 6 are dedicated to automation technologies and digital solutions at the service of industry transformation from a 4.0 perspective. The District 4.0<\/strong> stretches across pavilions 4, 7 and 8, and is dedicated to four key thematic areas of the industrial sector: Digital & Software<\/strong>, Robotics and Mechatronics<\/strong>, Additive Manufacturing<\/strong>, and Sustainable Innovation<\/strong> (new).<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are many initiatives in the field for the eleventh edition, all in the direction of an ever closer dialogue between technology suppliers and manufacturing\u201d<\/em>, says Donald Wich, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Italia. \u201cThe answer is positive, with six pavilions and new members up by 20% we are optimistic and look at the May fair as a crucial moment for the innovation of our companies, to discover the enabling technologies for the factory, learn about the new trends , discuss the green and digital transformation of manufacturing. Furthermore, I am pleased to announce that SPS is also broadening its physical horizons: in 2024 and 2025 two new editions will be organized, in the United States and in Frankfurt.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSix pavilions will welcome the best of automation technologies at the service of the transformation of industry in a 4.0 perspective. The District 4.0 area with working demos and application cases will illustrate the potential of Digital&Software, Robotics and Mechatronics, Additive Manufacturing solutions. A new one will be added to the already consolidated thematic areas which aims to offer the visitor a demonstration path on the most innovative and sustainable solutions.\u201d <\/em>adds Davide Lopizzo, Show Director of SPS Italia.<\/p>\n

The leitmotif of the fair is the digital transformation of industry, however, this year, the focus is on sustainability<\/strong>. Automation evolves to meet the needs of today’s manufacturing sector and the technology must be capable of supporting sustainable production.<\/p>\n
